THE TEST DRIVE MEME
Hey, ho, DWRP! Apps for ![]() The way it works is simple. Just post a comment with your character as if they were in game, with a line or two of either a setting or a network post. Then go reply to other people and thread to your heart's content. Shenanigans ensue! And then everyone apps everyone ever and you've already got an idea of what kind of CR you could get in-game. Sound fun? Well, then what are you doing still reading? Hop to! |

Alaric paused, shaking his head to himself before taking his customary spot beside Damon. Like hell he'd turn down a drink after getting kidnapped or whatever to. Montana. Evil vampire capital of the world, obviously, unless some other supernatural thing was conveniently nearby to blame for amnesiac transportation.
In a different dimension.
God, he really needed a drink.]
Have you seen Elena? Figure the answer is no. [Considering she wasn't attached to Damon's hip, at least. Shit. Maybe she was. Not here. That'd alternatively be for the best and the worst. There was no winning.]

Hence the drink.
Money's not a problem when you've got compulsion as a friend. He gets them a shot of whiskey each without hassle.]
What about you? Any familiar faces?
[He's also figuring no. Rick would've said.]

Yours. [The glass hits the bartop, slid back towards the tender. Not worrying is way easier said than done.] Woke up alone, wandered alone, found you alone.
And the phone doesn't work. Not for the numbers I tried.

Well, assuming the information is true, I assume we're a little beyond what long distance can accomplish.
[He'd even tried calling Stefan, that was how dire the situation had gotten. Who better not be here, by the way, or he might have to kill him and that would be unpleasant for everyone involved.
(He wouldn't, really. But he liked to believe he would.)]

[Yeah, he was sure there was some sort of universal irony in asking a living, breathing (so to speak) vampire that kind of question. But, you know. Still. There was a very big difference between accepting that supernatural monsters were real and accepting that... alternate dimensions were real. God, it sounded ridiculous even in his head.
He dropped his hand, sliding away from the bar to turn, leaning his back against it.]
Guess it could be worse.

No. But until I can find a less stupid explanation for why there's a city I've never even seen despite being around for a very long time, I'm gonna stick with it.
[He's right there with Rick. It's not easy to swallow. But hey, neither were werewolves and fabricated moon curses, so you know what? He's just gonna go with it for the sake of ease.]
